Five afternoons. Five journeys. One extraordinary musical world.

What connects the elegant salons of Vienna, the vibrant musical life of Budapest, the cultural crossroads of Prague, the Adriatic port of Trieste and the diverse traditions of Galicia?

For centuries, these places belonged to a remarkable world of overlapping cultures, languages and identities. The Austro-Hungarian Empire brought together peoples whose musical traditions influenced one another, creating one of the richest and most fascinating cultural landscapes in European history.

In this new series of five daytime concerts, virtuoso pianist and captivating storyteller Pavel Timofeyevsky invites us to discover this extraordinary musical heritage. Joined by an impressive line-up of acclaimed instrumentalists and singers, he will explore the composers, personalities, histories and unexpected connections that shaped the musical DNA of Central Europe.

And in true Notable fashion, the experience goes well beyond the performance. Each concert takes place in the intimate surroundings of a beautiful private home, where the distance between musicians and audience disappears. Afterwards, enjoy afternoon tea with homemade pastries, meet fellow music lovers and continue the conversation.

“Five cities, countless stories and a world of music waiting to be discovered.”
