A Venetian-Inspired Salon
A beautiful private London home becomes the setting for an evening of music, mystery, conversation and carnival-inspired celebration.
Behind the mask, a world of music
For centuries, Venice was a city of extraordinary contrasts: sacred music and scandalous entertainment, magnificent opera houses and secret encounters, aristocrats and ordinary citizens mingling anonymously behind elaborate masks. And at the heart of it all was music.
From the brilliance of Vivaldi to the theatrical world of Venetian opera, we explore the music, personalities and colourful stories of a city that turned celebration into an art form. Expect exceptional live performances, fascinating storytelling and a little carnival mischief along the way.
And because no Venetian carnival would be complete without a celebration, our evening continues with free-flowing drinks, gourmet canapés and wonderful company in the intimate surroundings of a beautiful private London home.
Part concert, part masquerade-inspired gathering, Carnival of Venice is an invitation to escape the ordinary for one February evening. Masks are very much welcome!
“In Venice, everyone has a story. Some are simply better told behind a mask.”
