Festival Guests are welcomed at Villa Les Cistes for tea and homemade desserts as well as a tour of the grounds. Villa Experience Guests settle into their accommodation.

La Vie Bohème: Welcome Champagne Reception
The villa transforms into a Parisian salon, immersing guests (who are encouraged to dress up!) in the bohemian spirit.
Enjoy fine champagne with delicious Parisian-inspired hors d’oeuvres as you meet fellow festival attendees and mingle with the performing artists. Listen to charming Parisian chansons gently reverberating through antique gramophones and connect with your inner Montmartre artist as you infuse with colour the artworks that will be used for the La Bohème show on Sunday.
The reception will take place on the Villa’s impressive terrace from which you will be able to enjoy unforgettable views of the sun setting over the Mediterranean Sea.

La Vie Bohème: Welcome Storytelling-Concert
Join the festival’s artistic director, acclaimed concert pianist and captivating storyteller, Pavel Timofeyevsky as he dives into a hundred years of the musical history of Bohemian Paris from the 1820s to the 1920s.
Inspired by the plot of Puccini’s opera “La Bohème” Pavel will tell the stories of the real artists, poets, philosophers, musicians and courtesans of the age who were drawn to the city of light, befriended each other, fell in and out of love, competed with one another and were inspired to create immortal works of arts. The concert will feature timeless piano music by composers such as Chopin, Debussy, Ravel, Gershwin and many more.

Dine just a few minutes walk from the villa at a selected local restaurant where Provençal cuisine takes center stage. Guests and performers dine together, setting the tone for a long weekend of cultural and culinary delights.

Saint-Tropez: A Bohemian Stroll
Guests will be invited to take a boat ferry to the “jewel in the crown” of the French Riviera, the vibrant St Tropez - where art, history, and breathtaking landscapes converge to tell its unique story.
Follow in the footsteps of many a great artists as you enjoy a guided tour of this charming town which will include a visit to the iconic Annonciade Museum, home to masterpieces by Matisse, Signac, and Derain, whose bold colours and expressive strokes captured the dazzling light of the Cote D’Azur.

Dress up in 1920’s attire and dance to the sounds of the Foxtrot and Charleston as you enjoy champagne and delicious home-made canapés mingling with fellow festival attendees before our opera and cabaret gala.

Step into the 1920s cabaret atmosphere and meet our International Opera star cast of La Bohème in a completely different guise as they present a fun and festive programme of Cabaret numbers, Opera and Operetta highlights as well as Musical Theatre delights. Listen to your favourite duets and arias from magical Operas such as La Traviata, Eugene Onegin and The Marriage of Figaro, let your heart sing along with the special numbers from timeless shows like West Side Story, Oklahoma and the Phantom of the Opera, feel the thrill of the deadly cabaret showstoppers of Kurt Weill.

Set off on a scenic boat trip along the stunning Côte d’Azur, taking in the beauty of the Mediterranean. The journey’s destination is Port Grimaud - an enchanting town built atop an archipelago of small islands and dubbed the Venice of the Riviera.
This guided tour blends beautiful views with great food and fascinating and informative stories about the area: a laid-back yet enriching experience.

Arrive in time for a morning boat excursion along the sparkling coast to Port Grimaud, and enjoy a charming lunch by the water.

Then join our lively and fun opera singing workshop – chat with the artists, laugh, sing, and discover the secrets behind the opera-making.

Begin with a beautiful villa breakfast and a leisurely stroll around Sainte-Maxime.
