A light-hearted and spirited opera singing masterclass – join the artists in a few iconic choruses, try out breathing techniques, and discover what really happens behind the velvet curtain. No experience required – just curiosity and a glass of wine.

As the sun sets, the masterclass gently flows into an impromptu musical salon performances, led by the festival music director, virtuoso pianist and raconteur Pavel Timofeyevsky, who will be joined by some of the festival stars.

This is the only concert night of the four day festival that is not programmed but sometimes the most special things happen when they are done spontaneously. Join international musicians in a informal and intimate setting as they present dreamy piano masterworks, soulful improvisations and a few mesmerising songs as a perfect appetiser before our Festival Gala dinner party.
