A Musical Weekend in Paris

Before spring arrives, we invite you to join us on a new Notable experience — Musical Travels, beginning with a magical long weekend in Paris, led by internationally acclaimed virtuoso pianist, composer, and storyteller, Notable’s Artistic Director Pavel Timofeyevsky.

Musical Travels in Paris will be an intimate journey through music, art, and history — following in the footsteps of Mozart, Chopin, Liszt, Debussy, Ravel, Gershwin, Diaghilev, and many more.

All storytelling concerts will be performed by Pavel Timofeyevsky and guest artists (TBA) on a Steinway grand piano in a stunning private salon in the centre of Paris.

Paris — The Invention of Dreams

Welcome concert & reception, a whirlwind tour through Paris’ colourful musical history.

Palais Garnier Tour

Guided visit, from Phantom of the Opera to Diaghilev’s ballet revolution.

Eugene Onegin - Pre-Opera Talk

A witty and emotional exploration of Eugene Onegin before we attend Ralph Fiennes’s sold-out production at the Palais Garnier.

The Full Paris Experience

Thursday to Sunday - 26.02–01.03

An extended cultural retreat including concerts, dinners, guided walks, and opera night at the Palais Garnier.

Thursday — Arrival in Paris. Welcome champagne reception and storytelling concert performed and narrated by Pavel Timofeyevsky on Steinway.

Friday Morning — Opera Garnier visit exploring the fascinating story of how a self-taught critic from the Russian Empire became the most daring impresario of the 20th century. Wander through gilded halls where the avant-garde was born and scandal became art.

Friday Evening — Opera Night. Champagne and canapés pre-opera talk, followed by the evening performance of Eugene Onegin at the Palais Garnier, directed by Ralph Fiennes.

Saturday — Morning brunch and lively conversation about the opera. Followed by Pavel’s musical promenade.

Saturday Evening — Storytelling concert and buffet dinner with champagne with pianist Pavel Timofeyevsky and guest singers.

Sunday — Breakfast talk on the history of Parisian organ music, followed by mass and departure.

The Weekend Experience

Friday to Sunday – 27.02–01.03

A shorter but richly immersive escape combining music, art, storytelling, and opera.

Friday Arrival in Paris. Welcome reception with champagne and canapés, followed by Pavel’s pre-opera talk and attend Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin at the Palais Garnier, directed by Ralph Fiennes.

Saturday — Morning brunch and lively conversation about the opera. Followed by Pavel’s musical promenade.

Saturday Evening — Storytelling concert and buffet dinner with champagne with pianist Pavel Timofeyevsky and guest singers.

Sunday — Breakfast talk on the history of Parisian organ music, followed by mass and departure.

The Cultural Programme Only

Join the concerts, musical walks, and dinners without attending the opera performance.

Friday: Welcome champagne and canapés with Pavel’s pre-opera talk (no theatre attendance). Dinner near the Opéra Garnier.
